Breakin’ in 2: Electric Boogaloo.

More stuff about that incident in Baltimore a few days ago where the ACORN guy and his posse break in to a house that they don’t own.

Both the guy who did it, Louis Beverly and the woman who used to own the house, Donna Hanks have warrants out for their arrests. Both of them are charged with 4th Degree Burglary and Malicious Destruction of Property. Looking at the Maryland Court Records produces some interesting information about the two of them. Both of them have prior criminal records (I know, shocking!). Here’s what *ugh* Michelle Malkin has to say about them:

While she was reneging on her mortgage IOUS, she somehow managed to collect rent on her basement (for which she was taken to court) and rack up a criminal record on charges of theft and second-degree assault. The house was sold seven months ago after two years of court-negotiated attempts to allow Hanks to dig herself out of her debt hole.

Baltimore ACORN leader Louis Beverly, who also claims to be a foreclosure victim himself, was charged with burglary for the break-in and released. He is literally a housing thug – having been charged with separate second-degree assault and property destruction charges earlier this year and battery, assault, handgun possession and possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure in 1992; and slapped with a peace order issued against him in 2006.

It seems that most of the people who work at ACORN are probably people who didn’t pay for their houses and were foreclosed on. If they’re unemployed, they must have a lot of time on their hands to hang around at ACORN and not get a real job…

Breakin’ in.

Wow. This is not their house, unless of course ACORN is gonna go through the trouble of paying for the stupid house and giving her the deed to it. I’m sure the real owners of the house now are probably pretty pissed off that some ACORN idiot broke in to the house and changed the lock.

Update 8:49 PM: According to the comments in youtube, there’s this about the person who owned this house.

Donna Hanks initially purchased her home (315 South Ellwood, Baltimore, MD 21224) on 7/06/2001 for $87,000. She re-fi’d in 2005 for $270,000, went into bankruptcy in 2006, this was the 2nd foreclosure. The $300 a month was actually $340 a month she agreed to re-pay as she was over $10,000 behind in her payments. The house was sold in July 08, they couldn’t get her out until September 08 after not paying anything for over a year.

Unbelievable. Crying “victim” after squatting from July to September…the people who own this house are probably sick of her acting like it’s hers.

Update 9:40 PM: According to the Huggington Post, she is actually a member of ACORN so it’s likely they knew that she could not really afford the damn house…
