A fascinating article on CNN about the possibility of life and intelligent life on other planets. I think it really covers why there are no aliens at Roswell and why the aliens from Independence Day aren’t coming here to attack. Even if there’s hundreds of other planets with intelligent life forms, the chances of us and them being around at the same time are very slim. Even more so, is the distance between planets. It would take months to go from Earth to Mars at this point. To go to to other planets in different star systems in our galaxy could take centuries. The point is that space is really big. The truth is we can’t just go to another star system like we’re gonna jump in the van and go to Des Moines….
